Colored light bulbs

I was replacing my light bulbs with leds and they all worked except the 4 red 1157 that control the tail lights-brake/turn signals Which work until the brake was applied than nothing worked as long as the brake pedal was pressed so i decided to keep them 4 as stock bulbs because everything else works correctly. I was thinking about replacing them with the red tinted stock 1157 bulbs any one done this?
