It was a good day.  Drive home was fun too.

PocketThunder

That is member coolmite (Timm) standing next to Mrs. Thunder and that is his car right next to mine.  You can see me kneeling to put the California plates on back for the show.

Here is my other picture from the show.

Great pics.  Thanks.
That Mannix 'Cuda ... I can't read the story board but they did an article in (I believe it was) Mopar Collectors guide about his cars a while back.  It should be a 71 'Cuda with 72/3 grille and taillights.
IMDB says: During the 1972-73 season Mannix's car (a 1973 Plymouth Cuda convertible) were actually three 1971 models updated (by changing the grill/headlights, hood, and taillights panel) to look like a 1973 Cuda, as Plymouth no longer made the Cuda as a convertible, and driving a convertible had been a Mannix trademark since the show began.

Ya know there I was and I didn't even read the article on the board right in front of me. :brickwall: Too busy looking at everything else. ;D

Great pics!
Here's the story on the Mannix Cudas, from a source close to the show and the studio.
The '72 shown in those really dark, rope blocked pics is one of the two '72s initially built from '71s and merged into the show in one episode where in a chase with a guy in a new black Coronet the '71 slams a canyon wall. HARD. The front wheel is in the firewall. Mannix, unrestrained by a seatbelt, has a smudge on his cheek and gets the car back within two commercial breaks!
The chase itself used both the 71 and 72s and as the '72 enters a carport you can see the scuff damage on the side. That season of Mannix is not available yet on DVD but when it is Ill do some image captures and will listen for the cringe...

Mannix's coolest car ever, the '68 Dart GTS 'vert, is in good hands now, google 'Mannix Dart' for details
