me and a buddy of mine took the charger about two hours away to a car show and as usual im the only charger and one of only a handful of mopars out of over 160 cars, they had plaques for the top twenty cars and best of show which was picked by the owners who brought cars to the show, they announced the top twenty and the charger didnt get anything which was to be expected there were some very nice cars and high dollar restos that deserved to win as i was packing up they announced best of show wass a 69 charger me and my buddy looked at each other like theres another charger here how did we miss it?? then they announced my name Holy Crap we won best of show. admittadly undeserved but sure was nice winning over the sea of camaros and mustangs.

I see nothing in that pic. that says that car shouldn't have won Best of show...It doesn't take alot to buy a new Challenger, Mustang GT, Camaro, etc. and slap a bunch of bolt on crap on it and show it...

It takes alot of hard work to make a '69 Charger look like yours....Well deserved trophy indeed...Congrats, as you should enjoy it...

Naturally a Charger should always win amid Mustangs and Camaros. It's a no-brainer. :2thumbs: Congrats.

That's awesome to hear, congrats! My car will hopefully be in it's first show on the 18th. While I don't expect to win anything I know it will turn a lot of heads as Chargers always do.

Huzzah!

Hey, it was perfectly well deserved. The plaque didn't fall from the sky, it was awarded by the people who own the cars you were looking at.

Congratulations on a very nice Charger and deserved win.  It is nice to see when the other crowd appreciates how hard it is to restore a MOPAR and the work involved.

Well deserved.  That Charger is badass.   :yesnod:

Congrats, you should be proud.

WTG man. Charger's tend to stand out amongst the rest of the crowd at many shows.
Reminds me of the time I was invited to a Corvette/GM show by some friends I have in the local Corvette club.
Mine was the only non GM car there and I took home a trophy for Best Original :)
Congrats all the way from Perth Australia  :2thumbs:
Gotta love a '69
