Going to be 90 this weekend were I live and 75 in the Bay area.

Glad I'm going to the Bay area.  (Did I really say that?)

CA really hasn't started its Summer heat yet.
Weather has been all over the place from 90+ to 60 and raining.
Can't say I'm missing the 110+ days

Funny you bring up the heat and I'm working on the Chargers AC system tomorrow.

95 to 100 in Kansas! I love it!   Better then the cold!

Well it was a weird winter.  Seems it only rained 'bout 70% of normal.  Snow pack was down & they were already predicting drought for the summer.  The past month & a half that's all changed.  We've been getting lots of gutter washers.  Reminds me of western Kansas, hard rain versus the light rain for weeks/months on end.

I'm rolling the dice & taking the 'cuda to Seattle for one of the big all Mopar shows.

Try last year when around my area it was down below -5 to -15 on some of the days last year and was colder at nights to. This year we just got hit by another of snow and not much on the temp part like last year. But so far this year we got hit not once but back to back with dang snow storms  :RantExplode:. To much snow for me  and now we're getting hit almost back to back with dang rain  :RantExplode: . I think we're in for a good old fashion summer full of heat  :shruggy:

There are a lot of whiners. But, I'll tell you this.

I've had more than a few friends from out west come here and the heat is fine but the humidity leaves them whining little bitches.

it's funny how the weatherman keeps saying week after week "it's gonna warm up for the weekend", but it hasn't topped 70 but a couple days all yr.
I know we have these "Micro-climates" here, where you can drive for 10-15 minutes and the Temp. can go up or down from 10 to 20 degrees... but, there's these low pressure areas are funneling all this fog and marine layer moisture straight through the bay week after week, after week... and most places in Calif have 200% + of rainfall,.. I saw a report that said the weather patterns have shifted south from Alaska so we are getting far more cool weather then in years past,..
I don't know for sure, but i can say I have seen some odd weather in my 50+ years in San Francisco,.. This summer is like the kinds of summers we had in the '60s - as in 1960s... then, it warmed up over the last 40 years,.. a few years back we had a few days of 100+ nearly every Yr. now like I said above, we've barely topped 70...  :shruggy:
in the recent decades - by now in July, we would've had at least a few 80 degree days every month since May...
So here in the inner city "The Bayview" where we're known for having the BEST weather in San Francisco, Temps are on average ten degrees below normal since last Oct. Consistently. It's foggy outside right now in fact..
a couple years ago we had a very early (and warm) weather cycle that started all the plants to blooming about three Mos. early,..
which was why I started the "How's The Weather" thread...

skip68

Talk about weird weather.... Last two days we have had these poofy white things in the sky which is making our 107' weather a bit sticky! Still better than back east though! Lol!.       Mrs.skip68

As someone else said, it's not the temps that kill you, it's the humidity.. You stand in one place for 10 seconds you are DRIPPING.

So, without sounding like I'm "wining", yeah, the humidity has been incredible.. But, once Fall/Winter hits I'll be praying for it, so for now, I'm taking advantage of the temps and spending every minute I can out there enjoying my days...

Remember.... It's around the corner.......

since this morning, it's 3:34 now... the wind has come up with a vengeance it's really howling out there right now... I guess the heat raising up in the central valley is creating a terrific vacuum, I expect reports of wind damage like trees on to homes cars and power lines on tonight's news.

Our heatwave snapped this week. Lows into the 50's the last couple mornings. First time since early May. We had an heat index of over 100 for most of August before now. We did have one spell of over 100 degrees actual temp for like 7 days in a row. Here is a pic from a couple weeks ago.
