Hey gang..
Anyone have some detailed pictures of a OEM correct '67 Hemi B-body? Charger would be great, but all B-bodies are pretty much all the same that year.

Cheers,
Troy

What exactly are you looking for?

Overall picture of the engine compartment. There are several things like the harness straps, brake assembly(power brake and drum brake master cylinder), front of the motor, rear engine-2-body ground strap, etc...

Thanks.

I don't understand why they painted half of the battery cable like that. I can see doing that with a 440 or something when the engine is orange but it looks way out of place with the black Hemi valve covers.... :shruggy:

Cody - The negative cable was on when the engine was painted. Even the black valve covers were on before paint. They used a crude shield to keep paint off the covers but on most original cars there are traces of orange on the covers.

Cora's car is a '66- quite a few differences between the two years, biggest one being the driver's side inner fender bracket for the various relays on a '66 that wasn't used in '67.

Thanks guys   :2thumbs: ............ From what it looks like, the '67 washer bottle was different than the '68-later? I know the '66 washer bottle was different......

67 and 68 washer bottle should be the same.
Part number both years is 2889803

maxwellwedge

Regardless of what the parts book says the 67 B-Body washer bottle is a unique, 67 only part done by crazy Ma Mopar to screw us up 40+ years later...

ODZKing

Well, I did more digging and it seems you are correct.  Mopar superseeded the part from 2809012.
Got these from Herbs ... no reason to believe they're incorrect.
Damn!!!! Now I think I've got the wrong one on my car.

67 and 68 washer bottle should be the same.
Part number both years is 2889803

2889803 is 68-70 only

66 is one year only - washer pump mounts to the side of the reservoir on the inner fender

67 is one year only - washer pump mounts inside the reservoir similar to 68 and up

ODZKing

Yeah, I ordered mine from Chrysler.  They superseeded the number to the 68-70 one.  Never really paid attention until now.  There's another $60 my wife will be happy seeing me spend on something I (according to her) already have.   :brickwall:

ODZKing

Another reservoir question.  And I thought this was asked previously but I can't find it.
Is the cap supposed to say "Washer Only Fluid" or plain?

ODZKing

Thanks Maxwell.  I picked one up at Carlisle for $50 and she is correct now.
