Man, I remember seeing that one, & I know I only watched SNL that night because Richard Pryor was on it. That was probably one of the 6 times SNL was funny. Classic.

I would have had you pegged for someone who really liked SNL. That's ok, I didn't ever get into it either. I did watch a tape of the funniest highlights once though, that was funny.

Better than Eddie Murphy IMO also he's the reason Eddie started stand up.

I was a huge Monty Python fan before SNL came on the air, & all the hype over it made it sound like it would be even funnier. It was a big disappointment, but mostly because 90 minutes was way too long, & there were too many boring & unfunny skits to sit through before something could actually make me laugh. There were some funny things on the show, but I only saw them when they did "The Best of SNL" years later, which was only 30 minutes long. Lorne Michaels who did SNL, also did "The Kids in The Hall" which was a hell of a lot funnier. It was also 30 minutes long like Monty Python's Flying Circus.

I vaguely remember seeing it, although I don't remember much of it.

Yeah, I just never did get into SNL. I tried it out 4 or 5 times through the years, but it never held my interest.
They sure did have a lot of good people cut their teeth on that show, though.
