I set front end height at the lower control arm adjusters per the FSM at home first as changing that later will alter everything a little everywhere.

 :iagree:

Set your ride height, eyeball camber to zero then set the toe to as close to 1/8" in as you can get it with your measuring device and go to the alignment shop.

Set the ride height first , but I'd recommend you not listen to the FSM as it will likely set the nose a tad bit higher than you want it. Also, when you get it aligned, do not use the stock specs unless you have a manual steering car or are using repop bias ply tires. If your using radials, go for as much positive caster as possible up to 5*, cmaber of  negative .5*, and total toe of .0625. This will result in a much better behaving road car than the stock specs.

First thing to do is make sure the lower control arms are square to the chassis and that the axle is square to the chassis. All other measurements are useless, until you know if everything is square. After that, rough setting height is possible on the ground, but really needs to be done on the rack, if it is known to be level. Any corner of the car that is not on level ground will change your height measurements.
