I had a question if anyone know any good parts dealers for manual transes. I have been thinking about droping in a 408 stroker into my charger. Its a 360 block bored over. Was wondering what my options were as fas as manual transmissions go? Also would i need a new driveshaft and diff setup, and would my stock diff be able to take the new torque and hps. The car is a 1973. I would appreciate any imput on my build, Thanks

What's your budget? What rear axle do you have?

I had the budget for whatever I wanted, but in the end stuck with the a833 4-speed and added a Gear Vendors overdrive unit.

ebay and craigslist are your best friends if you want to save $$. I recently found a small-block bellhousing/np4500 combo for $1500. You can put in a tremec with store-bought parts these days.
