The stripe dont bother me too much. Those god awful painted bumpers, tail light bezels and deck lid moldings look like shit. The interior sure dont look that great either. Id still drive it tho.

The entire paint job is crap, and looks like there's some bodywork to be done underneath-it's obviously a low-budget prep-to-sell effort. The bumpers are cheap to paint, but no more expensive to rechrome because of it...

$4500 max in this market, I figure. Cool car overall, to me. I like poly 318's.

Nice car with a lot of possibilities, but not at that price... too much crappy work needs to be redone.

The paint isn't very tasteful, but that body style looks pretty nice with the torq-thrusts. I gotta believe the convertible version is pretty rare. She needs a lot but it looks like a good foundation if you can get it at a good price. The restoration would likely cost more than the car is worth. Might be worth throwing some paint and a new top on and enjoy it?

I agree it's a nice car, but i can't get ove rthe hack job on the paint, I would have considered buying it if it was still it's original faded color,,, but i mean, he didnt even try to do anythign with the engine compartment, i would have rathered a rattle can of black spray paint then to leave it alone.

That car needs a new owner-that could be the most half-assed, misguided prep job that I've seen in a long, long time.Hopefully the next owner isn't drunk when he comes up with ideas.

Sublime/Sixpack

When new that would have been a nice cruiser. Now the only thing I like about it is the rims.

I've tried and tried to get myself to like those cars and I just can't. :shruggy:

guy in my car club just purchased a 66 sport fury vert. It is a blue over blue car with a 318 poly...    he bought it for $4000 and then sold the 22" wheels the kid had on it...    did some suspension work, wheels, tires...      now it is a beautiful cruiser
