Hi,

I'm going to put the center caps back on my Rallye Wheels, but I miss some screws.

I found some there, but these seller has such a bad reputation that I would prefer avoid him.
Does anyone know where I could get some at a fair price?

TIA! ;)

Bob

I took one of mine to the local hardware store and picked up a couple.

I won't find these in my local hardware store.  ;)
Thanks, anyway.

Chrysler was still selling them about a year or 2 ago.

Year One carries them, part number FD919020 20 SCREWS FOR $6.95.
Thanks. I didn't think of YO because of their outrageous shipping costs, but, why not.  ::)

I'm in Canada and their shipping prices seem to have gotten better, I stayed away for years for that very fact. I may have extras kicking around as well.

That "FD" prefix in the Year One part number means they are just buying it from Chrysler and middlemanning it to you.  I would first try the suggestion of Mr. Wedge if there is a Chrysler dealer near you Gounthar.

Ok, I'll have a look at the local Chrysler dealer.
I just have to find the correct part number, because they aren't helpful at all.
If I ever tell them it's for a '71 Charger, they won't even bother to search for the part.  :brickwall:
Thanks! :yesnod:

Don't feel bad about your dealer, my local dealer here sucks too! (And I am in the USA!)  :RantExplode:

I can feel your pain.  ;)
I'll try another dealer a few miles away.

Goumthar - If available, buy a 1/4" 20 TPI (threads per inch) starter tap and tap the threads into the center cap.  Most holes are about 1/2" in depth and are tapped about 3/8" in depth.  Then you can use any 1/2" long 1/4" 20 TPI bolt.  You may want to use a close metric tap and bolt size (6mm?) which would be another alternative.
