Johnny needs a good sending unit for his fuel tank on his '70 Charger R/T... I've heard nothing but bad things about the ones YearOne sells... Any other GOOD products from other vendors?

I got mine from here:

It is a 3/8" and seems well made, though I have not installed it.   I got it in the group buy about a year ago, hopefully someone who has installed it can tell you more

Hmmm, group buy, eh??  What kind of discount did you guys get?  I'm looking for a sending unit myself, along with some fuel lines, tranny lines etc...  Maybe it's time for another group buy effort...

It was set up by runningman (he's doing an SSBC one right now).   It came out to around 20% if I recall.   I ordered the 3/8" sending unit and a 3/8" steel line, which in my case made the shipping less costly.   I live almost on the other side of the world and it was sent in, literally a box bigget than me

I got mine from rockauto.com http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/catalog.php?carcode=1078826&parttype=4436 They sell a Spectra Premium fuel sender which sounds good because it has the word "premium" in the name but the thing is sitting in a box so I don't know if it's good or not. It was not expensive, that much I know.

what are the problems with the year one units?  seems to me that is what i got and the guage has never worked, but i figured it was the regulator in the guage.
