I've got 3 shows to hit in two days... A big one tonight, one tomorrow afternoon and one tomorrow night (followed by a drive-in movie). I'm really looking forward to it!!

How about you guys, any shows that you're hitting?

Mr.Woolery

I'm in the Los Angeles area, so there's a crazy amount of choices for the weekend...

-Tonight (Friday) I'll be doing a meet and drive-in...and missing out on half a dozen other meets.
-Dozens of meets throughout the southland tomorrow...I'll miss all but one.
-Going to a meet on Sunday followed by a drive up in the Mulholland areas.

Musclepalooza is at Lebanon valley this weekend  http://www.hemmings.com/events/musclepalooza.html

Pretty much decided not gonna go.   :shruggy:   She wants me to go with her to the flea market at Stormville.

Other than that there are a couple little shows that I might or might not go to.   One's at a boat club in Kingston that maybe more interesting that sitting at the other which is on blacktop at some firehouse in the middle of nowhere.

I'll go to the cruise at the ice cream joint tonight....  gotta call up E-booger yet and see if he's around.

The first show I'm hitting this summer with the Duster is on June 26th at NAPA Auto Parts in Langley. After that, almost every weekend I'll be hitting one.

I'd be going to Musclepalooza this weekend if I weren't heading to Tennessee in 10 days for a show and it wasn't a 5 hour drive each way.
Not this week, but I am looking for some shows/cruises in the Mid Coast region of Maine the week of August 28-Sept 4

MOPAR Spring Fling at the parts distribution centre in Mississauga, ON Canada is tomorrow - 9 to 3.

I'm going to spectate (is that a word?), leaving the New Yorker at home. I haven't really had it out for a run yet and it needs a good cleaning.

Cruise to colby in Everett Wa. is today and tomorrow.

Weather is not going to be the greatest but I'm going anyway.

Pre-paid so it's not like I have a choice....lol

Here's one of my favorite shots of the weekend, courtesy of panoramic mode...  :coolgleamA:

By the time this show was done, I was all "showed out". People touching my stuff. Opening my doors "are they welded shut?". No, help yourself  :brickwall:  . "is this an original from the show?" Yeah, and I'm out driving it around  :brickwall: "Is this an original Hemi car??" , Yeah, and I made it into a GENERAL LEE  :brickwall: , "Can you jump this thing with this cage??" Yeah, watch me on the way out, I'll try to clear your car.  :brickwall: "Can I slide across the hood??" , Sure, if you can do so while dodging bullets from my .45, give it a shot  :brickwall:

I'm taking next week off!!! (from the shows)

I like this one, too...

other than that, the Saturday night show was rained out, so we hit two shows this weekend.

The joys of owning a General Lee. I hear the same stuff every show, but its great owning a GL.  :2thumbs:
I pointed to two old drunks sitting across the bar from us and told my friend
"That's us in 10 years".
He said "That's a mirror, dip-shit!

Here are a few shots from the show on Friday. There was a TON of vehicles there, so I wasn't spending a lot of time with my camera... But I managed to get some.

Before everyone got there, it was just the wife and I in the field.. Then the people started to pour in about 45 minutes later and filled the field completely.

This mint '74 SD Trans Am came pulling in early, too... Awesome car.

Cool old Caddy...

These guys were outstanding in their field.. (ok, bad joke...)

Starting to arrive...

yeah, then all Hell broke loose and the 1000+/- cars packed in... Which is where we sat for another 4+ hours.

My stable mate, and friend's father's Cuda... he parked next to me... Awesome car.

This guy spent about 1/2 hour talking to me... Awesome Chevelle!!

Richard Petty Blue .. Cool color in person!

I was backed up to the 'bikers section' , because quite a few of my friends come from that group.

A friend from another forum's Nova.. Awesome machine.

This guy was blasting around having fun!!

A custom job that Jon E @ Tube Chassis and Chuck just finished. Pretty cool stuff..

The holes go through.. I heard people asking "how is the gas not leaking out"

I get the same thing with mine.  It's starting to get really, really old after 2 years of it too.  It seems people exercise absolutely no common sense when they see a GL or they just turn into instant peabrains the second they see one.  I still like driving it around though.  I didn't mind it at first, but I'm at the point now where sometimes I consider replying..."Use you friggin head will you"  When I was down in Ocean City, MD, I started getting to the point where I wanted to take the car home and put it in the garage fr a couple months.  Then this made it worth it :D

Each year the Rolling Antiquers Club have one of the biggest of the year. A 2 day show - Saturday: Muscle Cars which drew over 50 Mopars and well over 600 cars. And Sunday which is antiques had about the same but fewer Mopars.
I don't go to win awards but last year, quite a surprize we took first in our class behind the gold 73 Charger and then a red 67 Coronet R/T (also there this year as you'll see). But nothing this year, it was a GM year - still a great show.
