Does the back of my voltage regulator look ok?

I'm sanding down my factory voltage regulator for my Duster and I noticed the back of it seems to be a bit bubbled. Is this alright or should I replace it?

I would think it is ok.  If it was that bad, it would have been melting and running down your firewall.  If you do have concerns, keep a spare inside your glove box. :2thumbs:

I agree, I keep a spare in the trunk.  But I have seen plenty look like that.  Some have a clear, some black.  Some show more than others.

That looks fine, Cody.. I've seen them where some of that was melted off and running down the back and they still worked.
