on my 73 challenger the front valance turn signal won't work so i took the lens out tried to pull the bulb out and it was rusted in there bulb ended up breaking and had to use a pair of pliers to get the rest out  took some effort. so i replaced bulb it lights up with the running lights but won't blink when turn signal applied i unplugged it and hooked up the other sides signal to it to make sure it wasn't the wiring or switch it works. so it has to be a problem in the light socket itself since old one was stuck fast in. question is can i replace just the socket if so where can i find them or would i need to get the whole light housing and socket?

socket can be replaced, not easy though.

Replacement parts are not EXACTLY to the originals, and I think will need some other mounting job on housing opening, but can be done and saves the complete housing replacement what is certainly not cheap.

thanks Nacho for the link. i mite end up going that route but if i find a set of housings for the right price i'll buy them. it's always nice to have some spare parts and i could give it a try to replace the socket and if i break something no worries because i had other housings installed.
