I am in the process of restoring my steering column on my 68.  Some of the pieces look like they are the same finish as the dash and some may just be flat black.  Also I am thinking of powdercoating these parts when I drop my dash frame off.  Can the die-cast pieces withstand the heat of the powdercoating process?? Thanks
