pretty cool stuff,  the kind of find we all dream about,  even if there's no Mopar muscle in the batch:

There is some damn fine looking iron sitting there. As far as I'm concerned, the styling back in that era is unmatched still today.  I hate to see stuff like that just sitting there going to waste.

Those are some cool cars!  :yesnod:

I think the first comment sums it up pretty well.

QuoteThere's something a bit joyless in these, I must admit. Knowing that they were parked in perfect condition and then abused takes much of the excitement from their story. It's clear that these were excellent, near-perfect survivors that didn't survive the neglect of their last owner.

Still, you don't get an opportunity to restore cars like these every day. Each is a gem, provided the rot isn't too deep.

It will be interesting to see how the cars sell on Ebay.   For example, I am surprised the Packard 12 cylinder car was not shopped to a knowledgeable auction house and marketed accordingly.

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

When i retire in 25 years (i hope) i plan on still having my Charger, and then going to work on restoring pre-WWII cars.   :yesnod:

Something sad, but also something wonderful. Imagine how many people will get to lay hands on them now, restore them to their former glory and beyond-something that would not have happened if they had been kept in a climate controlled museum. It doesn't appear that any of them are ruined, certainly not beyond relatively easy restorations.

I always wonder what I will think when I'm old...what I will want to hang on to from the past, even as those things entropy along with me.

Thanks for the update on what a Mopar is,  Captain Obvious.  Now reread my statement and go from there.
