My buddy just got one of these in his dealership.  Not sure If I like the colors.
I still think this car needs hideaway lamps like the old camaro's.  That would be super cool.
At least they are only making 500.  Not like the 78 vette where they made 6,000 and most people garaged them and then couldn't move them because there were so many low miles ones.

I had to show you these pictures. This Camaro is so cool. The stripes are Full body White Pearl Rally stripes!!!
GM is only making 500 and this will be the only one we get. All built identical to this one. See pics and specs below. Let me know what you think as a Car enthusiast
about this. the pictures are of someone that took delivery but as stated, they are all identical!!!

Sorry, hate everything about it. :rotz:

Especially 'cause they are trying to copy Hemi Orange. Should have been the old Chevy Orange.

Its alright I guess. Its just not my cup-o-tea.

1968 Charger. 318 Out of commission:(
1975 Dart Swinger. 225 Pops daily ride.
1990 Dodge Ram. 360FI My daily ride.
2007 Magnum R/T. 5.7 Family wagon.

What are the signatures on the (I'm guessing) fuse box.

Meh, its alright. The rare thing about it is cool but to me I would not want to drive it making it a waste of $46,950. It will probably have to be garage kept all its life and rarely driven giving it <10,000 miles when it gets sold on Barrett Jackson in 40 years
96 Dakota, custom everything 4x4, 5.7 HEMI

I like it! sure beats a 4 door Charger and cheaper than a challenger.  :Twocents:

Agreed, BUT it isn't as bad as the "Petty blue copy" mustangs........

I thought from you discription they would've stuck to the originals paint job and stripes,.. Personally I don't like it much, too many deviations from the '69 style which was/is my Fav. combo... It's not even a convert... I don't like the pace car crap on the seats or the doors or how close togeather the stripes are - or them reversing the Orange and White or the shade of Orange which sure don't look "Hugger" to me. Overall though, the Neo-ponys with all the stuff stuck all over them are not my Favs. I like a more subdued look with correct looking stripes and scoops and wheels and spoilers if at all.
But im not in the market to dump $40+ K into a new car,.. If I did I'd save up my pennies and I'd want a new Caddy V. Wagon.

Ever heard of Grabber Blue?

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

I wonder if Corvette fans are disturbed by the General Lee?

Brock Samson

no, they get bored with the Vettes and turna around and buy a Jenny...  :shruggy:

BTW: i sat in a real '69 pacecar in the showroom, when they were first released,.. very cool...
i suspect his pace car is one ride he regrets selling.

tan top

like that !!  :coolgleamA: would rather all black interior :yesnod:

Oh is that what it's called? I didn't know the name of it but it looks VERY similar to petty.

grabber blue is what FORD was painting thier BB engines...
Petty Blue was a gallon of white mixed with a gallon of Blue - the only paint on hand to paint the Plymouth business coupe Taxi senior Petty "Borrowed" to enter the race...

Um, no. The engines were Ford corporate blue. Grabber Blue is a bright light blue. It was something like a high impact color (along with Grabber Green, Grabber Orange, etc.). It does look similar to Petty Blue.

Oh, any way, I like the Camaro. I doubt if I'd buy a super limited production one though.

Talked to my buddy.  He said the signatures are all the guys down the assembly line that built the car.
I loved the 69 pace car and did a full resto on a rare 396/4 spd car found in a field in PA with 4 bullet hoes in it.  I sold it many many years ago.
After that car I did another one with a 396/375hp motor.  Now that was real rare. :yesnod:
