I am going to relocate my battery in the trunk and I am trying to figure out where to mount the shut-off switch.  Anyone else have a 3rd generation set up?  Got any pictures?  I would prefer the standard on-off turning switch, not the push pull, but I am not sure where I could put it.

Are you talking about an external one or one you can reach from the driver's seat? I think a common external spot is on the back somewhere, like on the panel next to the tail light or the bumper. If you're going to race it, there may be specs you have to follow outlined by the sanctioning body or track.

NHRA requires an external mount in the back.  My problem is the lack of a panel to mount it on.  All tail lights on these 73's.

They require it to be in plain sight.  I looked at the valance and it is kind of low.  Not sure that would pass, but I kind of like the idea of using a bumper bolt hole.  That way I don't have to drill any holes.  Thanks for the ideas guys.

maybe put a plate under the bumper that has the switch facing towards the ground?
Remember the average response time to a 911 call is over 4 minutes.

The average response time of a 357 magnum is 1400 FPS.
