66-70 B-body master cyl bracket clip- which do YOU have

I'm doing a bit of research .

After pulling about 8 or 9 of these brackets off of cars. There doesn't seem to be any particular length is specified for each particular application.
Meaning I pulled brackets off of cars with manual drum brakes, that had the same clip as a power brake car.
I only had 1 power disc brake car (1970 charger 440)avail and it has the longer version shown.

A friend of mine has a power disc brake 69 hemi coronet and it has the short one.

So which do YOU have .
specify model, year, and brake style

I would guess the Charger used the longer one, for the vacuum hose that ran the head lights. On the other hand the 70 were electrical.

I have access to 2 chargers - 1st - 1970 w/pwr disc brakes and 2nd - 1968 w/pwr drum brakes - both had the longer one.
yet I pulled longer ones off of 2 diff 69-70 b-bodies with manual brakes and they also had the long one.

Yet, I also pull clips off of other 66-70 B-bodies with manual brakes that had the short one

Does that mean if my plate doesn't have a hole for the lug on the clip that it isn't the right bracket?

Sadly my original was snapped in half so I have no idea what I had (manual drum R/T car SPD 4/30/69)

These are the best I could find from my car-the brakes are all original to the '68 R/T, manual drums.

It may appear to have a hole, but I looked close and I don't think there was one . I thought it odd thus the reason I took the picture

If you have your original, depending on where it's broke it may still be able to determine what length it was. If you strip the rubber coating off of them there is an oval hole designed to make them fold in a certain area, and is ususally the place they snap in half. And this hole is in a different area depending on original length. I seen a couple like that on my investigating trip.

Bill, I have the short one in mine.  It's a 67 Charger with factory power discs and 383 four barrel.

The longer one is what I was looking for when I needed mine.  I based my decision on what I had seen in my travels through the salvage yards.
