I'm looking for a software where I can download a clip from the enternet that I had made with my one pc I had before it had crashed on me. I got the clip uploaded but now want to download it. But I need a soft program where I can use to download it from the net though. I tryed Orbit Downloader and that didn't work. There was a program I once used that I did like back around a year ago but I can not remember what the heck it was called now though. But if anyone can help out with a program software that I can use, it would be really great.

Try Real Player. It works for me. There are probably better ones, but it's free.

Where did you upload it to? If it's YouTube or something similar you can't get your original file back as it gets converted to some other format. If it's a normal upload site like Photobucket you might be able to - but that's as simple as going into your account and pulling down the file so no "downloader" is needed.

I use a tool called Orbit Downloader, http://www.orbitdownloader.com/ , make sure its used for only your content and nothing that would have you breaking the law

I did try Orbit but that didn't want I work with my system though, when using that program, I need extensions on the file and then it wouldn't play. Thanks for the tip on it also man

http://youtubedownload.altervista.org/ . It updates frequently and you can download and convert Youtube movies to mpg, avi, mov, mp3, mp4 and I think another one or two.

I tryed that program as well, same thing, it needed an extension to work on my system, when I got the extension it still wouldn't work  :brickwall:

I wonder why it asks for an extension? It always downloads it with what I assumed was the original file name or at least whatever youtube might have converted it to.  I generally have to download the newest version every time I use it, which is about once or twice a year.

I thought it downloaded the extension also, but for some od reason, when I downloaded it 4 times the extension wasn't part of it and when I did download it by itself and installed it. It still didn't work and wouldn't play the files at all and kept asking me for an extension. I did some research about it and what I found, the stuff mention you would have to download the extension on it's own maybe to get it to work. I did that also and yet nothing.
