Thats the tech that services the copiers at my wifes place of business.

Since most machines like that are leased it should be the responcibility of the copy machine company to erase the drive.

Funny that to get the built in option to erase the images scanned cost an extra $500

So the lesson is that when you sign a contract for a copy machine lease you make sure you get to keep the hard drive when the lease is over. Then drill holes through it then smash it with a hammer.
