well my daughters high school drive around went really good she did great she made three or four passes around and stopped to pick me up and head home on the way home about 2 miles from the house it shuts off just like you turned the key off,  which i thought was odd so i try and restart and it backfires with a sound like an atomic bomb going off, i get out check things over and the coil is hot enough you cant hardly touch it brand new msd coil too, so im hoping that a coil and possibly a power valve in the carb will fix things back up. havent messed with it today as she regional trap shooting tournements. so all in all she did great everybody was envious of her and she had a great time and at least it decided to break down afterwards on the way home. heres a few pics.

your daughter looks very comfortable in that charger. I'm thinking grad gift?  :icon_smile_big:

Or maybe time to restore one for her?

When you find someone these days that likes the old muscle cars that is not common. You find a young lady who likes them, even less common. Oh and she also likes guns and even competes? Wow that is a trifecta! Too bad you are not in my area, she sure would have alot in common with my son, Josh. He started shooting skeet at 10 years old.

When I built the '68 I had it was going to be a grad present for my Daughter. (after I was done playing with it in the mean time) It was the main reason I went as far as I did with the car. I was so looking forward to seeing that great big ear to ear grin like the one on your Daughters face. Your such a great Dad and I'm sure very proud of your daughter.

last time something like that happened to be the timing was way off. bolt was loose and it got bumped or something. May be worth a check.

cool deal with your daughter though. Looks like she had a great time. :2thumbs:

So did you let her get squirly in it? My daughter likes it when I lay a little rubber in the truck, she doesn't like the Charger as its to loud.
