Everytime I go to a car show.............

Everytime I go to a car show I see the top 5 to top 10 cars I would ever want and realize none of them are even close to our Chargers.

I saw a 70 Barracuda and 70 Challenger (probably my top 2 picks behind my Charger) at a show today and was really unimpressed :-\. I like going to car shows and admiring all makes and models of cars but when I leave I become more inspired to work on the Charger and not pick up more projects.

My Girlfriend who loves Mustangs, Falcons, Camaros, and Chevelles did not seem to like a single Mopar at the show today but she made a real suprising comment to me while going home: "I think your Charger would have got a hell of a lot more attention than all the other cars today even though it is a project.". I think she is right.

Is it a bad thing that I go to car shows and leave more inspired and obsessed with my Charger rather than wish I had more cars? Does anyone else feel this way?  :shruggy:

I love my Charger but I still like seeing other cars... I hope that doesn't make me sound like a player... :image_294343:

Am I a Charger freak, yes.  But, I would die for a 70 Challenger TA, 70 AAR Cuda, 70 Super Bird, 69 Daytona, 70 Road Runner Convertible and on and on.  This is probably due to my age versus you...  :nana:

Keep that girlfriend of yours.  :Twocents:
My name is Mike and I'm a Moparholic!

nope im the same way! I really dont see alot of 3 gens (or to be honest, Chargers) in my area. At the last car show I went to (Winks in Barberton if any of you are in the area) there was a REALLY nice red 68, but I didnt get to look at it because I was talking to a friend who I havent seen in awhile and the owner left soon, and a numbers matching 71 Roadrunner hemi car (NICE!)

If that's u'r Charger in the Avatar, with them cool Ansen Sprint wheels, then I can understand. Mean! Can I see some more pictures?

When my Charger was primered, I would bring it to car shows and get tons of attention. I can tell you about more than one occasion I got a serious attitude from another car show entrant Mopar owner with a primo restored E body. When it was just participants, they would be smiling and nice, talk about your plans with your car. By the end of the show when your heap is getting as many looks as theirs, they start picking your car apart.
