Hey guys,,,,might be a little late into the season,,,but did everyone check the freeze point on their antifreeze ???  :o

I got a tester a few weeks back at the local autozone,,,,($5.00)...and the Charger is good to -20 to -30.....
I checked the Belvedere and it was only good to about +20,,,,there was still a fair amount of straight water in it from racing this fall.... :rotz: .so I changed the mixture a bit.... :icon_smile_cool:

I also put a Battery "tender" to keep a trickle charge on the batterys over the winter......... :icon_smile_wink:

You should see all of us "Rednecks" down here,,,,,there was a major snow warning the other day,,,,supposed to get a wopping 2" INCHES....and they closed the schools,,,,and the whole town rolled up....i couldnt believe it.....I am used to taking a pounding in Detroit with all the snow,,,,it was pretty funny to see everyone freaking out down here...
So far,,,the winter here has been VERY MILD........still lots of green grass,,,,avg temp is 30-40.....oh yeah,,,time to go out to the garage with a beer........... :yesnod: :icon_smile_wink: :icon_smile_big:

HEEE, well trust me if I did not have the heat she would be a cold Mother here.  I suspect with the 40 mph wind and 3 foot of snow drifted into my drive way it will not be nice out tomorrow,

BTW, I GOT STUCK IN MY DRIVEWAY ON THE WAY HOME :rotz:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

It's an easy thing to forget where I live because the temp rarely dips below freezing. I've checked it in years past and I kind of assume it hasn't changed, but I know I should always double check. It was a different story where I grew up. There it's pretty common for the temp to drop into the negative numbers and bad things happen. I worked on a ranch there and the boss forgot to check the coolant freeze point on the bail wagon and sure enough -- pop went the block.

For you city boys, this is a bail wagon:

They have Ford V8 engines.

I'm cryin' for you... had a whoppin' 2 degrees in southern NH this morning. Still one week away from the 'official' start of winter, and I'm already sick of it! :flame:
