UFO

When I first saw it on the truck forum I thought ,maybe some find of template  for mounting a emblem.
Could be part of a dealer parts display item.

Looks like one of the signs I've seen that hangs (would hang) over service or parts department and would have another piece next to it stating the department.  Before the illuminated plastic sign days.

Since it's only about 2 1/2 inches square and it appears to have mounting tabs, I'm going to throw my guess out there as it being from something like a Chrysler specific diagnostic tool and that it slipped under that seat during a service many years ago waiting for you to discover it now.

Magnumcharger

Methinks Steven Juliano might have an idea about that. :scratchchin:

My :Twocents:.....It's a stamped aluminum emblem, with tabs meant to be inserted into then folded over another piece of sheetmetal.
Much the same as Ghostes' comment, it probably came off of some Chrysler-oriented diagnostic gizmo.

Looks a lot like the same material as a carburetor tag, differential tag, or dealer-installed underdash A/C tag.

It probably would make for a great toolbox ornament now.
