What took ya so long?

I had a exhaust manifold leak on the Charger last year that I couldn't get time to fix until late in the year. I only drove it twice last year myself.  :'(

Glad to see you are sharing your ride!   He's going to grow up loving that car. I've had collector cars ever since my 11 yr. old boy was born...a 'Vette, a couple of hot rods and a Mustang and he likes this one the best. It's a very special time. Enjoy it!!  :2thumbs:

Are you back in town now? I see your mom quite a bit where she works.

I haven't seen your '70 around, is it running? I did see you sold a '69 a while ago.

thanks for sharing all the cool pics of kids and muscle cars. Brings back good memories of my kids when they were that age. Course for you guys with young uns, just wait till they are teenagers and want to restore a charger of their own. Then the REAL FUN begins!

Yep. Just got back a few weeks ago. The 70 had an electrical meltdown, so I have been working on that. I sold the one 69, but I still have another one. It is a lot rougher than the one I sold, but it has the #'s matching motor and tranny, so I decided to keep that one.  Starting a new job on Monday and currently looking for a place of my own...one with a garage would be nice lol....know of any around the area? If I see you guys at the shop I will have to stop in and say hi...

Nothing wrong with taking the kids for rides in the Charger. Brought my son home from the hospital in a 1969 Charger. And now at the age of 6 he still loves them. He rode in the C500 over to Carlisle 2 years ago 10 hours each way no radio, and not a single complaint out of him about if we were there yet. He was just enjoying the ride. Ride home was about the same but he was hopped up on a nice 24 oz Mt. Dew that was provided by another member of this site.
