For some it may be worth it, but for me, no.........now, I would like to see more pics of the Nomad next to it

Nice.

It doesn't even suggest that it's numbers-matching or original except in configuration. Must have Typo'd an extra zero...

Even at $110,000 - - considering typo - - this guy is fishing for a Marlin. In fact, he's in the wrong boat, using the wrong bait. :shruggy:

NICE CAR THOUGH!  :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

They're just drumming up interest for the Leake auction later on. If they made it too cheap someone might buy it and then what would they do?

I ran into one of those a few years ago but the opposite. A guy posted a 68 Super Bee (shell) for $4,500 but then when I contacted him he said the auction was only to let people know he was going to have the car at Carlisle - for $11,500. I assumed that if I had bid on the car a shill bidder somewhere would make sure I didn't win.

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

WTF is this 3rd gen turd super rare or something? Howz about I pay say 30 grand for the thing, buy a house and stash the remaining 500 K in some apple stock?

It's becoming a common tactic.   :rotz:

Just another example of why E-Bay isn't nearly as fun as it used to be...

In my opinion, NO car is worth that much. The most I'd dish out for that car or one like it would be around $50,000.

Why does a 440 six pak GTX have a bench seat?

Won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're

Ghoste

There were a lot of supercars shipped with bench seats.

keep your girlfriend close.. unless it was sold in SF, then it would be to keep your life partner close :D  (a small joke for those that really know me, as I am so NOT a gay/lesbian hater)

Hey RD, .....back then nobody was actually "out of the closet". :D   If an actual Queen really bought a yellow 440 Six Pack GTX bench seat car like this in 1971 - just to have his boyfriend close....he'd really get a beating.  And I'm certainly not talking about the race track! :nana:
