My 71 charger had a half vinyl top...Guess what ??? It is now Swiss cheese (Rusted beyond repair).  A buddy of mine has a 73 Charger roof and I think I could use some of it to fix mine. What do you think ?  I KNOW they are different tops around the rear quarter glass, but I just need half....Maybe put a top back on and hide the seam ???

I put a '74 roof skin on my '71.  Same exact part and part number. The only difference was where the studs for the canopy vinyl molding were attached.

Does anyone have pic's of any charger getting a new roof ?

I don't think somebody posted, but Harlow did it on his former 68 Satellite

Yea, saw some pic's, But no pic's of the actual roof off and it's the area around the roof rail I am nervous about. :scratchchin:

I'll try to dig up the photos of mine and scan them in.

on this case nothing more that a Parts Manual catalog can show ;)

BTW I would use the complete skin. Bettwer than cut a section and weld overlapped. Use the original welding locations as complete piece replacement.

the welding seam is JUST RIGHT at the top of C pillar, thats why is interchangeable. Nothing to do with C pillar itself
