MASTER CYLINDER RE-BORE

I have a 1968 Charger R/T with power drum brakes. My numbers matching master cylinder needs re-bored. Instead of putting a sleeve in it has anyone just re- bored it to 1 1/32" and used the kit from the 71-72 A-Body cars?
Is the length of that kit the same as the 1" kit for the 67-70 B-Bodt?
