Curious if anyone remembers the fellow who used to own a White[?]  2nd gen R/T  and sold it to finance a Viper instead.
It was on the old D-C.com board, I think he lived in Nevada...
Do you remember his boardname and has anyone heard from him ?

He checked back in a few times after buying the Viper and said he was happy with the swap.

I remember who you're talking about.  I didn't know the car was white tho.  I'll think about it and try to come up with a name.  I hate being old. :icon_smile_angry:

My excuse is all the second hand wacky tobacy smoke I have inhaled.

I just can't remember his name either, didn't he change it to something like 70viper? or snake-whatever.

I don't know his name either. ;D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I remember him too. He had that good looking 69 that the wheel ran off of on the Left Rear and damaged the quarter panel because of a crappy shop.

But dammed if I can remember his name either.

His name was a 6 letter name, with a space in between. like "XXX XXX" but i cant remember what it was.  and he had a blue viper with white stripes in his avatar.  that guy?

"MoparMan" he defected to ALLPAR when we had our little war over the Sedan... he still posts over there...

it's slipping mind because I cannot imagine why anyone other than a mental patient would think that any viper could come even close to being as cool as any 2nd gen charger

I could see wanting a viper, but not sacrificing a charger to get it.  and I want to see a comeback of the guy who's name looked like a coronet grille

I was curious if he was still happy with the Charger "sacrifice" he made to get the viper.

I can see why he'd want to - Better handling , more base HP/ torque  with excellent potential for more, everything probably works on Viper still.

BTW: he had two second gens...

Right he sold\traded the RT and kept the other one, which I think was a 383 car.

...and hanging out with other Vette, I mean Viper owners, and talking about the latest issue of Motor Trend and how fast they said the car is.  Hosting wine tasting parties and ridiculing the Porsche fans.  Name dropping guys like Tiger Woods and Prince Charles.

Not for me.  I like my beer swillling gang of fools who dig on old Chargers and DOH reruns.

or talking about the latest issue of Mopar collectors guide, hosting dash pulling parties to find burnt wiring, dropping names like Galen Govier and Steve Juliano, ridiculing the Chevy fans, or whatever else us Charger owners might do.  :shruggy:
I don't see as buying a Viper would exclude him from loving and discussing, wrenching on 'old iron' - or would force a person into drinking Dom Peringnon Champagne and discussing golf and royalty.   From what I've  observed , there are an equal percentage of Viper owners who regularly flog the cars at racetracks and modify their vehicles as there are those that do that to their Chargers.

Consider yourself lucky then because any of the ones I've encountered were primarily interested in a display of wealth.
