New exhaust is coming. Decided to go with Dynomax Turbo Flo mufflers, Pypes x pipe with dumps, and Summit electric exhaust cut outs. I sure hope the Turbo Flo mufflers are more on the quiet side with no drone or interior resonance. The electric cut outs are for play time, track use ;) . I just hope the x pipe and cut outs will stay tucked under the car nicely out of sight. I have a local exhaust shop doing the install this Saturday.

The exhaust guy offered a set of stock type mufflers. I am debating using them rather than the Turbo Flo's?? Wondering what it's going to sound like with the cut outs open?? :smash:

Maybe you should have looked at Magnaflow... their supposed to be quieter than most, but still throaty when pushed. :shruggy:
So I've heard anyway... :Twocents:

I checked Magnaflow's website. They do sound very mellow. Muscle car sound clips are a V8 Chevy though.

Unfortunately, I only know one guy (shown below) who currently runs them. He bought them for the same reason... He wanted something a little quieter for that sleeper effect, and he definitely wanted to eliminate the drone associated with a few of the more popular brand products. He is very happy with them... His name is Gary, and he is the owner of Larry's Auto Machine : http://www.larryspower.com

My wife wouldn't let me keep the flow masters on mine, and honestly my eardrums couldn't take it either. So I just put on a set of magnaflows. they still have a bit of a low tone below 1200 rpm, but after that are surprisingly quiet since the air has absolutely no restriction, you can see straight through the muffler.
I can take an audio clip if you'd like.

You could always look at a Stock Hemi muffler too  :yesnod:

Just got back from the muffler shop. Went with the Dynomax Super Turbo. They are fairly quiet. Just a little rumble through out the RPM range. No resonance or drone what so ever. The X-pipe probably helps that out a lot. My seat-o-the-pants meter says 0 to 100 is still a blast  :yesnod: ! Except I can hear myself think now, and the radio  :coolgleamA: .

Had trouble with the electric cut-outs. Couldn't install them. They hang way too low. The Summit brand are not clockable. No oval holes. I have speed bumps the SOB's HOA just put in in my neighborhood. I only have about an inch clearance from the cut out collector to the speed bump. Gonna call Summit and see what else they have for me.
