Anyone have a diagram (or photos) of a steering column out of a 69 Charger console shift!  Replaced the turn signal switch & installed a new steering wheel, and now theres a grinding sound coming from that area & also the steering "catches" or "ratchets" when turning!  And the "collar" where the turn signal lever is, is really loose as well.....I do think I might have rotated those pieces by accident when it was all apart, so I must have missed something somewhere when putting everything back together!!  STUPID, I KNOW!!!   :icon_smile_dissapprove:

Thanks

....and one other thing....where would be a good place to send my existing column to in the event it needs rebuilt...or purchase a new/rebuilt one?

You do alot of rebuilding columns?  Have you heard of the problem I'm mentioning before as far as the grinding & "ratcheting" ("catching" or binding up) of the steering wheel?  Is it a bearing??

hard to say without hearing it, a upper bearing is possibile but sounds more like somethign loose or rubbing in shaft tube. What year and style column is it?
