Has anybody tried these header http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HED-78030/. I need to get some proper collector gaskets to eliminate leaks, so I noticed these that don't need any and since my existing headers are banged up and need to be sandblasted and painted, I thought maybe just get some new ones. I will be ordering some other items as well from Summit.

Denis, those are the same headers that are allready on your car.  ;)

Just order a set of Percy's gaskets and clean those headers up. I have some Eastwoods manifold paint that you could use...it works very good.  :2thumbs:

I have them mounted up on my 440 powered 68. The fit up and installation was not to bad. Helps to have someone help on the drivers side as you have  install the starter with the header half way in. I had a bit of rubbing on the drivers side torsion bar but I heated it up and clearenced it with a hammer. The reducers that come with them are for a 2 1/4 exhaust. The only thing I dont like about them is how close to the starter they are. I may pull it and mount a mini starter.
