Since I have never read up on go-wings nor have any info on then, does a go-wing for a 70 charger fit on a 3rd gen?

I don't believe the 70 Charger had a go wing option :shruggy:  I know first choice sells a third gen spoiler.

they will fit, but they are not OE correct.  the "gull-wing" is correct for 1971 applications only.

Dumb question but what does it mean when it's not OE correct?

It means it wasn't offered as original equipment in that paticular year.

Cody,
Over on the 3rd Gen site there is a string already there and a source to buy them cheap.

The 70 Charger did have the J81 Spoiler option available October 20, 1969. Not many were made since it was a mid-year option and wasn't included in alot of sales material so the public didn't typically know about it.

I'm not too familiar with the 3rd gen site.

One of the reason's I bought my '70 Super Bee was because it was coded for a go-wing.  But to be honest I like the looks of the '71 waaaay better.

charger_cody

Ya. The reason I ask is because there is a 70-go wing on the for sale forum and was curious because I am considering getting one.
