What is the difference between the Edelbrock Performer RPM heads (PN: 60929) and the Edelbrock Victor heads (PN: 77929)?

There is a shop local to me that has their own heads made like the Victor heads, but with 84cc chambers and 265 intake runner.  Valve sizes are the same 2.2 and 1.81.  I can get a set of these for $1200.  Would there be substantial differences or anything else I should be aware of?

Also, would the stock locks, retainers, and springs on the Performer RPM heads work with a Comp Cams XE285HL, or would I have to use the Comp recommended stuff?

I'm trying to get the most bang for my buck.

The Victor is more of a "race" head with raised intake & exhaust ports and also requires special offset intake rockers. The RPM head is much more user friendly. The stock RPM springs will work fine with the xe285hl cam.

Personally, i'm not a fan of the knock off heads....i'd stick with Edelbrock.  :Twocents:
