Were there ever any 68-70 Charger police cars?

Actually, there were some departments that used two-door cars.  Don't recall which ones, but I have read about them.  They were used because the two-doors typically had larger more powerful engines and didn't have to be special ordered.

I've heard of that one. The last owner of my Charger was considering buying it but didn't.

Too much for an unrestored car IMHO, but not sure what happen to it. I think he said it was red on black.

this was used in a township in up state new you for many years until 1991 or so till they forced the chief to get a new patrol car it is now in pittsburgh

Ks had them and they were 383 65 dodge 2doors maybe polara sedan cant remember**

had a guy tell me once that his dad had a 1st gen done up in AZ or NM (i forget) when he was a local sheriff, never got back to me on pics though so probably one of those "stories"

I had a chance to buy a 2 dr 68 fury flat top state patrol car and a 69 fury 2 dr state patrol car (both Nebraska cars).

They weren't Chargers but both DPS and Harris Co. Used both uniform and unmarked 5.0 Mustangs when I worked down there. I believe they switched over to Camaros after that.
