Ive got one, bit the bullet a few months ago. Found a few old friends and got to see what a few of my ex's look like from 20 years ago which was cool. Other than that you get to find out approximately at what time a bunch of people are heading out to rent a movie and exactly what movie and where there stopped to grab a bite to eat on the way there and how it was afterward. Then when they are calling it a night, what time they got up to go the bathroom in the middle of the night and so on. One thing you do need to check out on facebook if your into nostalgia drag racing is American Nitro. Lots of cool pics every day. :2thumbs:

Ain't that for kids ? :shruggy:

Facebook's handy for finding old friends, schoolmates, coworkers and other people that you may have lost over time.  If someone's got an e-mail, chances are you can find them and vice versa; it really isn't all that bad...

Please don't mention kids, I just had it out with a friend of mine on there around 1AM. I'm not going to say who he is but he loves to make screen names and play the dang lets post under different names on one profile wall!  :flame: . As you all know I post my model build photos on in my photo area in there own little spot to keep them from mixing with each other. I also started to channel my model channel over from youtube also onto my facebook in my video area. Well for some od reason and I ask God this also as to why this one person does what he does for which just recent got me  :icon_smile_angry: at him. I had a young man stop by sometime yesterday when I was not online line but my pc was. And this person left a comment about my one build that I no longer have and the photo in like 7 months old. Well this person comment on what he seen and also about what one other person has said back around March at me due to what I said about another friend of mine and the guy thought I was talking about him. Sure enough, the friend posted back asking the stupidest question as to what he ment by what he said ::).  Now this how you can be on facebook, after I talked to the guy on IM about the issue and all the so called screen names issue. He went back and edited his stuff out and then said I had ask him not to post there anymore  ::) when I didn't even say that but all I said to him was to post under one name! and one name only! Now he has to as I removed each one but one after what he went and did on my wall and photo area after we talked on the IM. He littery log out and log into under another one and posted (before I removed them)!

I'm not sure who all here has had that issue with people on there but I feel your pain pressly if it's a good friend that is doing it. I also haven't been feeling good for the last few days and not in a good mood some what either from it and yet this person doesn't get the clue it seems and yet wants to play the different persons game. As you can probably tell, I am tired of it

Where the heck is that function at bud? I can really use it   . If anyone wants to have a chuckle with what I have to put up with, swing by  :shruggy: and check it out. I know you all like to play games with friends but nothing like this though  :smilielol: . A friend can only take so much before they really snap and get tired of it.

Click on the page of the person you want blocked; scroll all the way down on the left, and this should be the choices you see:

Suggest Friends for _______
Report/Block this Person
Remove from Friends

Hit number 2, and you are given the choice to block or report them.

That's it!

Boy, you've got serious problems. Some guys have cancer, got robbed and shot, faced financial ruin during the financial crunch, but nothing is as bad as what you've gone through with your little fake cars and online networking issues. Hang tough.

MoparManJim

Well how can I put this, he removed himself off my friends list this evening or I should say he removed me off him after I sent him a PM and told him my view of how I felt. He said he didn't want problems.. and that I misunderstould him  ::) . He may have been a friend (for around 4 years) an all but I didn't misunderstand him. Not after many times I have told him about what he was doing and yet he still did it. I don't think even you all would do it either.

I'm sorry I hi-jacked this thread.

Thinking about deleting mine.  If you think about it, how many of these people are really our "friends?"

BlueSS454

I created one a couple months ago to do some car club stuff, then I got reeled into playing Car Town  :yesnod:  I found out it's a good way to share some pics of different events I go to without posting them on 10 different websites.  The biggest thing I noticed is that I always get requests from friends of friends that I don't know.  I usually ignore those.

Facebook has been an interesting thing for me. Lately I am really starting to hate it.  It has brought me back to old friends and that has been nice. Been connected with many family members and that has been great. Just 20 years ago you may  talk to family on the phone LD for a few minutes every month and now you can talk daily with photos and stuff. See them every year or few years at a holiday and now you can keep up with them daily. What its also shown to me is how people have changed thru the years. I have family and friends that I just dont like anymore (and maybe they dont like me either). Lately it seems to cause more harm then good. Or maybe I let it do that.  I also have had some family and friends who have died and in a wierd way their FB page is some kind of an online shrine to remember them by.  I've thought about shutting my page off but the good parts of it out weighs the bad parts so I keep it.
