My mechanic learned something about Mopars today...

He learned about the close relationship between the header stud and the water jacket in the 440...while standing under it and loosening what he thought was the nut but was the whole stud!! Poor guy got drenched!

What's the best sealant to use?

i've always had good luck with teflon tape but others my not........................

I like the teflon sealant. Either the tape or the liquid stuff works very well.

It's oil- and liquid-proof, dries fast, seals immediately, isn't sensitive to a damp area, better in heat than RTV, and comes loose when you want it to.
