Hey all you Cali owners, have you seen the shirt from In Out burger with Mopars on the back? I live in Tn and a lady was next to me at the grocery store shopping and she had the shirt on. The pic on the back was of a 68/69 barracuda and a GTX crossing the parking lot at night. It was a very neat pic. If I ever get out there again maybe I can find one. If any of you have the shirt maybe you can post up a pic for others?

A 68 Charger so its a likely the passenger is a sinister guy with a shotgun.

My shirt has a '68 Charger but it's not the one shown.  Of course the shirt's about 15 years old.

My wardrobe is pathetic.  Nothing but car show & Mopar shirts.  My daughter had a project in class where they talk about their Dad & draw a picture of him.  She nailed mine.  Goatee with scruff, no hair on top & a shirt with a car on it.   :icon_smile_big:

Ghoste

Yeah, my wardrobe is a lot like that too.  Wife and kids keep buying me bland new generic stuff that is likely quite stylish and I keep wearing greasy car shirts.

There's a KC Chiefs forum that I frequent.  There was a post with a get together outside the stadium in the parking lot & I swear 90% of the guys' had goatees' & were shaved bald.  It was crazy, almost like they all planned on sportin' that look.

Us crackers' don't care if we all look the same I guess.   ;)

Not even close. In-N-Out.  "It's what a burger's all about"

And they are coming to you America; the website says there are now 9 in Utah and 15 in Texas, 278 total in the West. You'll have one soon enough in Kansas.

They are extremely successful, and growing like crazy. Can't open them fast enough. Their business model is unique, all cash flow, no leverage, no franchises, family owned. They have the highest sales and highest profit per square foot of any restaurant in the USA. They earned it with the best food, best service, and setting the standard like nobody else.

Very few great things have come from California - let's see, boobs and In-N-Out. That's just about it.

Now the haters can start in. ::)

Here in KC, we have a place called 5 guys Burger. It's dang good. No drive through though. :brickwall:

Bob T

Edging back towards the buger theme, we dont have In n Out here, sounds good though, just the usual McD, BK, Wendys and most recently Carls' Juniors , yet to try it, only really go to BK around once a month on the way home after car club meeting and lots of beers, the nominated wheelman handles the drive that night.

Actually used to sub contract to a Co that built BK's, have assisted in 20 of them all around the country , usually took around 6 - 8 weeks from civil work marking out the site to burger time

Miss Lynsi peddaling her 68 is pretty damn cool though  :2thumbs:

I've never seen fries with peanuts served together (granted I've been there like twice), but if I had to guess it's because 5 Guys fries everything that they fry in 100% peanut oil. They think it tastes better and is better quality. It's certainly healthier than the typical fast food alternative, even if the hydrogenated oils have been phased out. Of course "healthier" is relative.

We just got back from San Diego and we ate at in-n-out twice. Their animal fries are something else. Also on the second trip my son tried a 4x4, a little much, but he had to do it once. The new shirt has a 67 GTO and a Roadrunner on it.
