hey yall, i have a '71 newport with a cast crank 383. i put a factory high stall for a cast crank 400 in the car and it woke it up big time. the weights looked the same and i, uh, assumed that they were the same but........there is a slight vibration at speed. after reading the vibration thread that bull posted it occured to me that i may not have nailed down the bellhousing bolts. do yall think that there is enough differance in the rotating weight between the 383 and 400 to cause a vibration. in the morning i will double check the bellhousing bolts and drive her again to verify. what do yall think about the converter?

Ghoste

Does the vibration occur only under movement or can it be felt when the car is in neutral and revved up?
