six-pack pistons,452 heads lunati 240/250  520/547 cam...motor likes 25 degrees intial timing does that make any sense to you guys...seems like alot, car starts & runs fine...thx

If it starts, yes, it is okay.

500" NA, Eddy head, pump gas, exhaust manifold with 2 1/2 exhaust with tailpipes
4150 lbs with driver, 3.23 gear, stock converter
11.68 @ 120.2 mph

I have 24* curb idle timing on my 440. Starts and runs fine. Eddy heads ,Lunati  226/234 cam srp pistons 10.5 cr.

Still only 36* total.
