I just got the conformation letter today. I was not sure if was going to work out or not. As some of you may recall. I posted some pics a while
back of this 35,500 mile unrestored Charger that I pick up last year. I traded a real nice survivor 67 Coronet and some cash in order to own this Charger. I will be driving it to the show because I do not own a trailer. I have already gotton some flack about having to driving it 290 miles each way, but I have no choice.
Stop down to the survivor tent and say hi and check it out. There are still a lot of untouched factory parts on this car.
The pictures make the car look mint, but paint is not as nice as it looks. The hood was repainted by the dealer before the original owner took delivery because of shipping damage. The dealer paint work on the hood has checked and cracked over the years and is showing its age. Anyway I'm looking forward to meeting some of the members. It looks like the tent has been moved for this year. The map that they sent shows that it will now be  located near gate 1.    Jon....

It looks to be an excellent choice on their part going by the picture.  Congratulations. :2thumbs:

I think you can rent a U haul car hauler fairly reasonable.  Just an idea...  nice ride!

Very cool. I look forward to seeing it. The tent is full to the gills this year, so there should be some nice ones to look at.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I feel that I got the better end of the deal on the trade though I wish I had both cars now. What is interesting is that both cars came from the same dealer, and they are both  low mile survivors. They would make a nice pair togather.
When I was thinking serious about trading for the Charger I figured that the first thing that I was going to do was detail the engine compartment. Now I'm glad that I have left it pretty much untouched. It may not look like a show piece under the hood, but then it is 39 years old and still original.

THE COLONEL

Being in the Survivor Tent, sure will be an honor.  You should be proud. :yesnod:  Congrats! :2thumbs:
