I was able to get my full asking price , other wise it really wasnt worth it for me to sell.  Thats all i have to say about that .  :icon_smile_big:  Definalty a premium for a driver quality car but most of these cars are rusted beyond belief in the floor pans and underside.  As i said this car has always been garaged .

count on it.
As for that Daytona, Maybe my old man can trade you some charger parts for that red car and bandage the wound left behind from the absense of what was supposed to be my inheritence.
BTW I am turbokid on the other sites.

I had a '86 Turbo 4 door Lancer in high school. Was a quick little bugger for what it was. It had a 3 speed tranny so 105mph was about it. I think it had about 120K on it when we got rid of it. I also drove one of those early Turbo 600's that talked to you until it overheated one day when my brother in law borrowed it.

Later I looked at a blue and silver Shelby but it was already beat on pretty good way back in the early 90's.

We ended up with a red 1990 3.0 V6 Daytona ES. That would do 125mph and gave my sister's 1987 IROC Z 350tpi a serious run for its money. :hah:

just a word of advice. on any internet deal make sure that check has cleared for several weeks before shipping that car off. as a police officer im aware of several scams where the check will "clear" then weeks later the bank will say that it really wasnt any good and will make you pay back the money. by that time the guy is long gone with the car.
id hate to see you get ripped off!   :2thumbs:

I forgot you even had it. I been wanting to buy one of those since the early '90's when I had the regular turbo Shelby Charger's. I have never seen a GLHS in person yet. Wish I knew you were selling it. I'd been all over it.  :-\
