Has a few parking lot dings her and there , Has a few paint chips and issues but over all a nice driver survivor . The hood has a nice bump and a great view . The turbo is intercooled and  just screams on this baby throws you back in the seat when it kicks in.

I like that dash cluster...looks like it would be a bolt in for my 88 Shadow....

Might have to find one and see

I just sold my 66 Dart convertible that we owned since 1990....was kinda hard to see it drive off

I sure it hasnt hit me yet the loss of this car, when it gets loaded on the transport i'm sure it wwill be like loosing a part of the family . But i just  dont get a chance to drive it and need the funds in this economy to restore the other projects i have.

My speedo in the Shadow only goes to 85....like the stoopid little car can go that fast.

The Dart being gone hit us about a day later after it left....and like you, we never drove the Dart anymore...it had to go to fund other items...like maybe my back surgery.....or funeral plot in case surgery fails

Find an 89 turbo shadow cluster. I believe they go to 125.
However if your car is tach-less, you will have a lot of work to get the factory tach going.

As for that Daytona, Maybe my old man can trade you some charger parts for that red car and bandage the wound left behind from the absense of what was supposed to be my inheritence.
BTW I am turbokid on the other sites.

I had a '86 Turbo 4 door Lancer in high school. Was a quick little bugger for what it was. It had a 3 speed tranny so 105mph was about it. I think it had about 120K on it when we got rid of it. I also drove one of those early Turbo 600's that talked to you until it overheated one day when my brother in law borrowed it.

Later I looked at a blue and silver Shelby but it was already beat on pretty good way back in the early 90's.

We ended up with a red 1990 3.0 V6 Daytona ES. That would do 125mph and gave my sister's 1987 IROC Z 350tpi a serious run for its money. :hah:

just a word of advice. on any internet deal make sure that check has cleared for several weeks before shipping that car off. as a police officer im aware of several scams where the check will "clear" then weeks later the bank will say that it really wasnt any good and will make you pay back the money. by that time the guy is long gone with the car.
id hate to see you get ripped off!   :2thumbs:

I think they were rated one of the fastest 4 cilinders cars ever made back in 80s ?
