Earthquake in WI....nope just a meteor.

I thought a freight train was outside my door a little after 10pm last night. It woke up my wife and little boy from a dead sleep. She thought it was just thunder but the sky was clear. I thought a tree must have landed on the house but it turned out to be a meteor that lit up the sky and caused sonic booms. 

I didn't find anything out in the yard though.

Never heard anything over here by me. Didn't know nothing about it til this morning. Of course, we live pretty close to some busy railroad tracks. So if I did heard it, probably thought it was the train.

The footage of this is awesome !!!  Shows the power of velocity versus friction and how much mass our atmosphere has compare to the vacuum of space..... Imagine if that energy was tabbed? We'd be able to generate electricity and keep the petroleum for our cars !!!!!

yeahs ago... i mean when I was 19 years ago I was delivering Pizza and one of these fireballs light up the night sky like it was daytime.... scared the living *&^% out of me, I thought someone launched a nuke

Local reports are saying it broke up about 15 miles from here. I guess there were various small fires started around the area. The breakup might be what you see in Nacho's posted footage.
