I picked up Slash's new album a few days ago and I can't get enough of it. It's on my computer, I play it in my room on my CD player and then it follows me to the car. It was originally going to be called "Slash & Friends" but it's just titled "Slash- R'N'F'R". Here's the song list....

1. "Ghost" (feat. Ian Astbury)
2. "Crucify the Dead" (feat. Ozzy Osbourne)
3. "Beautiful Dangerous" (feat. Fergie)
4. "Back from Cali" (feat. Myles Kennedy)
5. "Promise" (feat. Chris Cornell)
6. "By the Sword" (feat. Andrew Stockdale)
7. "Gotten" (feat. Adam Levine)
8. "Doctor Alibi" (feat. Lemmy Kilmister)
9. "Watch This/Watch This Dave" (feat. Dave Grohl & Duff McKagan)
10. "I Hold On" (feat. Kid Rock)
11. "Nothing to Say" (feat. M. Shadows)
12. "Starlight" (feat. Myles Kennedy)
13. "Saint Is a Sinner Too" (feat. Rocco DeLuca)
14. "We're All Gonna Die" (feat. Iggy Pop)

Bonus Tracks:
15: "Sahara" (feat. Koshi Inaba)
16: "Baby Can't Drive" (feat. Alice Cooper & Nicole Scherzinger)
17: "Paradise City" (feat. Fergie & Cypress Hill)

Personally, my favorite songs are "Ghost", "Crucify the Dead", "Back from Cali", "By The Sword", "I Hold On" and "Sahara". I mean, they are all great songs but those are my personal favorites. My least favorite would have to be "Doctor Alibi". I've never liked Lemmy's voice so the song does nothing for me at all. "By The Sword" has a lot of Led Zeppelin type guitar and singing tones in it, it's pretty damn cool! For Guns N Roses fans, Izzy Stradlin did the rhythm guitars on "Ghost".

I got mine here in the UK 3wks ago and i've listened to it nearly everyday. It's awesome and deserves to be No1 in the charts. I've actually just finished listening to it whilst weight training.  :yesnod:  :2thumbs:

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

It is a great album, not a turd on it.

Ratt's new one is also really good.  I am happy to see these two groups/guy from the 80's still releasing great material.
