I'm hoping someone could set me straight.  I changed the carb on my Charger from an Edelbrock to a Holley.  Had to order a new throttle adapter (didn't know they were different), but now my trans kickdown doesn't line up properly and the spring location actually pulls on the throttle.  Not good!!
Does anyone have some clear shots they post to show me exactly how the levers and throttle should be mounted on a Holley set up?
Thanks guys!  Great site!!

That pic is the '71 and up style kick-down linkage so don't fret if it is different from yours.

Here is a 69-70 style with stock carter carb. The trick is to get the kickdown adjusted per factory specs regardless of carb type by whatever mechanical means it takes.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. The second image is exactly what mine looks like.
The question I have is.. the spring that comes from the kickdown linkage (toward the firewall) hooks onto the adaptor that is part of the throttle.  What happens if the return spring gives?  Wouldn't that pull the throttle wide open?  How do you hook up the kickdown without pulling on the throttle?  I can't seem to find anywhere to hook it to without pulling on it.  Thanks again for the help!!!

That slotted kick-down shaft is in the full forward position at idle. When the carb opens it pushes that lever back and causes the trans to kick-down a gear when the throttle is opened far enough to move the trans lever. Find the kick-down adjustment procedure in the Factory Service Manual and it all becomes clear.
