e-bay fraud: how many of you have been defrauded?..

 Well, so far my Paypal and Credit Union and just tonight my e-bay account have been hijacked and my passwords changed so i can't even log on to the sites anymore...
What are you guys doing about this?..

getting ahold of ebay isnt easy. there is a phone number, but they get quite irritated when you call them and dont use email.

Email ebay and paypal with your account info and say it was hacked in. also watch your name to see what they are selling, also call the credit union and have them change your account numbers and get new passwords.

or find someone to hack back into your account and change the passwords again.

Hey, This just happened to me 2 weeks ago and here's how I fixed it:

Just go use the "Live Help" on the ebay site. The person on the live help will ask you a number of questions such as the last address used for the ebay account, the very first thing you won on ebay, and really funky questions like that. After trying to email them for days while someone was using my account to bid on crap, Life Help got it done in about ten minutes... maybe fifteen.

Depends on the level of identity theft... such as if they take your credit cards, social security number, etc then usually you start all over.

I only have one number for ebay.  I have this list that gives you the phone numbers you need to avoid machines and automated responses.
Give it a try, nothing to lose.  1-800-322-9266 and then it shows what looks like dialing 0 and then another 0.  Let me know.
