These seals you have for a superbird. Reason for asking as I do think I have pictures of a superbird showing seals installed .But if the daytona pictures help you .Then your set

There's plenty of pics to reference in HemiGeno's epic thread on the restoration of his Daytona, esp the air seals, Superbird or Daytona, they are all very similar in their manner of location and attachment

nascarxx29

Found a comparision picture of the daytona and superbird nose seals on PCG site. The differences in the 2 should be obvious if you compare the pictures. As mentioned manner of attachment and location similar.Performance car graphics has the rivets etc hardware for installation. The K Frame Seal is held on by a few number of commom speedometer clip.On the 2 straight channels and K Frame edge

generally you need about a dozen or so of the special rivets to install the seals,...If the OP purchased the seals from OfficialDayclona .com they are included with the seals, otherwise you can purchase them from PCG for about $6 plus shipping, or they're FREE from me just by requesting them, and sending me your address

Thanks to all! There for a superbird. And I didn't get them from Daclona..I always have trouble finding places to get parts and find the vendors after finding the parts lol...Thanks Mike! I will give you an address by PM if you give me a link to your web site. Also will say thank you for the offer but I will pay you for them...Your not in business to give them away and I would have to pay to get them else where anyway.

Mike, as we put the nose together on the Daytona clone using your z-braces and seals, we were so impressed. Everywhere there was a need for a hole, there it was. Already punched and waiting for the rivet. The whole thing went together much easier than we had expected. Allen has a little fine tuning to do on the headlamps. I wish that he lived closer so that we could help him. I couldn't quite get the limiter thing ironed out. That was my first nose assembly so I guess I didn't do too bad.

Speaking of your parts. Since no one has shown any interest in buying my Superbird clone project, it looks like I might be needing a set of z-braces, headlamp buckets and headlamp doors some time in the future.  ;D

I had planned to paint the bird on Tuesday but the plans got changed. The weather has ben nice and the yard has dried to the point that it was time to move a two car garage that was in the way of the new shop addition. It's now or never.  The spring rains will be here shortly.

I didn't know where that long piece attached to the Daytona clone. Allen, I have that piece if you need it. I can bring it to Branson along with your scissor jack.

OK I have all my seals in except two. What are they and where do they go? One is rectangular and the other is almost square with a split running up about half way through and it also has a cut out area on the other side about the size of a quarter. :scratchchin: I have tried about every place I can think of.I don't think I have ever seen these on any of the pictures of these cars.  It is the two smaller seals for the superbird.
Thanks
