Some years back a Mopar magazine did a story on a guy in Calif. who was a racer in the golden years and he had a basement full of parts. There was probably a half dozen or more complete Hemis  on stands in a row and parts hanging off the wall like headers and manifolds and whatever else. There was just a truck load of mopar race stuff.  This was back in the 90s and no idea who it was.

Those are just stories.  Crazy tales people tell on cold nights.  There are no Hemi's in barns anymore.  So stop looking!

There was a picture of  this racer and in the background there were complete complete engines, parts and what have you and as I said it was back in the 90s. I think Tan Top and I are talking about the same story.  The first Chrysler meet at  Carlisle there were 3 complete, running Hemi engines for around 12K each so  parts did exist at one time.

The guys name is C Camble that owns all that stuff!! I have talked to he a couple of times, sold him some things over the years! He likes hemi stuff!!! He told me he was a minister and he has found all this stuff while out on "missions". He then ships it home and sells the stuff when he gets back home to support his next mission! Sound far out there to me! But Maybe!!! He will talk your ear off on the phone so beware!!!! Expensive prices on his hemis to and 440 six packs stuff!!
